More2Life is a Youth Development program that partners with parents and the community to increase awareness among youth that their choices affect their futures. We provide culturally relevant programs that ENABLE youth to set and achieve their goals and EMPOWER them to build healthy relationships and avoid risky behaviors such as drugs, alcohol, and sex outside of marriage.
STAFF BIOS
Jason Dorr, Director
Jason is the Director for More2Life. He’s been with More2Life since October 2006. He graduated from Oldsmar Christian School in 1995 and then attended Countryside Christian Training Center where he received his license for ministry. Jason is married with two young kids. For the past 15 years, he has been working with youth. Jason has a great passion for working with and mentoring teens. He is also a youth pastor at local area church, Global Family Fellowship in Clearwater, FL.
Kasi Bedford, Educator
Kasi has been with More2Life since October 2011. Since becoming a single mother at the age of 17, she’s developed a passion for speaking to young people about how every decision they make now will impact their future. Her experience as a teen mom has given her the tools she needs to give advice to teens and pre-teens about abstinence and the positive outcome of waiting. She graduated from Osceola High School in 2009 and plans on graduating from St. Petersburg College’s MIRA program in 2013 with a degree in the Music Industry and Recording Arts.
Spencer Te’o, Educator
Spencer has just recently joined the More2Life team in October 2011. After graduating from Palm Harbor University High School in 2008 he had a desire to work with young people and started to pursue it. Recently after graduation he moved to San Francisco where he worked with teenage students in the Greater Bay. After moving back to Florida in 2010 he became a youth leader at Palm Harbor United Methodist Church. Spencer has also been playing guitar for 11 years and has used that talent to connect with teens.
Tricia Buriff, Educator
Tricia graduated from Sickles High School in May 2008. She currently is a senior at Clearwater Christian College where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Bible as well as a minor in Biblical Language and a minor in History. Tricia has a background in student ministries dating back to 2007 and loves utilizing her skills and talents to educate students in a creative way. She has a passion for leading and teaching the generation behind her which is the reason why she was added to the More2Life team in October 2011. Tricia is a longboard riding, book reading, craft making young women who loves learning and adventure.
